cinch314
Ok ladies, what new toys did yall indulge yourselves with since hunting season has been over? Myself, I got a new Model 770 Remington 7 MM Mag, Bushnell Scout 1000 with ARC, a tree lounge, Bushnell 12x42 AW Binoculars and some new scent lok camo. I think now my hunting setup is complete. Guest Andrea
I haven't bought anything. But I will before I go fishing. Need a new reel and lots of tackle.
HuntingInMaine
I haven't gotten anything yet, but will be getting some new camo for turkey season and some shooting sticks so I'm not cramping up while balancing the shotgun on my knees and waiting for the gobbler to get in range. I'm also quitting smoking, so that's roughly an extra $160 a month and I'm going to treat myself to a fishing trip this summer, just have to decide if I'm staying local or heading to MA for a charter trip. M00N
I haven't got anything new yet... I'll be investing in either a new Myer's custom strings, cables, and Predators View Peep Sight for my current bow or selling that bow and getting a Bowtech Equalizer and getting a Myer's Predators View Peep Sight installed on it and my gear off my old bow changed over. I'm not sure which option I'll be going with yet. I have to go shopping and price checking and see what I can afford.

aksheephuntress
.......So far, I have been blessed with the big find: my mountain rifle for sheep season this year....a Winchester 30-06 model 70 Featherweight ...need to fit it with a nice scope, though... -Looking for a sling with kevlar swivels- -Got some new socks;I think these current Danners will last through the season. -I have to get this digital camera fixed;and looking into a good pair of compact, lightweight, long-range binos. Also, got my new bow that I got at x-mas adjusted at Sportsman's Warehouse, a few weeks ago.It was nice to be able to shoot it at the indoor range, and get a lot of advice. -Got a youth bow for the kids! Deb
Haven't gotten anything, yet. But I need to get a new range finder and a gortex raincoat to go over my winter hunting jacket. No other pricey items on the list ( as of yet;)).

He just bought a Harley for himself. -just saw your post....that Yamaha sounds nice...I had a 1000cc Yamaha Virago that I got, the day I came out of the ABATE motorcycle proffficiency class...but, had my eye on this 1986 Lowrider I ended up riding for years........after riding a motorcycle for only 3 weeks, I took off work one day, hopped on the bike, and didn't stop until I ended up in Sturgis (I never had even HEARD of Sturgis!-nuts?!)...for the 50th anniversary rally(this was in 1990:eek:). I just went those hundred of miles by myself....once you get on your bike and ride for a few weeks, it will feel a part of you....I sure hope you could come up here -if not on that trip, one of these years(I understand your work schedule).... -Anyway....I'm excited about your bike!-I sure miss mine.....
