DU_man_84
tonight i was cleaning and oiling my reels, gearing up for walleye season, and i was just wondering whats everyone uses for gear, myself my whole life ive used abu garcia reels and i mainly use st. croix rods, i have a couple berkley lightning rods, never have like berkley but i do like the feel of the lightning rods, and for line i use nothing but power pro mainly, but for mono leaders and finesse fishing i use stren, what does everyone else use
bluelund79
Same rods...St.Croix and Berkley Lightning Rods for eyes, However, I use Gander Guide Series reels or Shimano. For bass, its St Croix rods and shimano or guide series reels. Muskies-GLoomis rods and Shimano Reels. SPend almost as much on fishing tackle as I do on hunting items....Hobbies aint cheap!!! Texan_Til_I_Die
Abu Garcia Revo SX reels and Browning Midas Boron rods or Castaway graphite rods. Also have a couple of spinning outfits for the lightweight stuff. Usually use either Seaguar fluorocarbon or Trilene Big Game line. If I'm flipping heavy cover I'll spool up with Stren Super Braid or Power Pro.

VABuckSlayer
I bought a Revo S and like it a lot! I have it on a 7' H St. Croix Legend rod for flipping jigs and stuff. I use mostly Quantum reels outside of that. I have several different makes of rods for different thing. BPS Extreme, BPS Cranking Stick, Fenwick, Shimano,.... I have no loyalty in rods.
