mitrrophybowhunter
Anyone use these? I am interested in how they fly. Also if you have a whisker bisquit. I would think the enlagred vane might have a bad effect flying through the bisquit.
VermontHunter
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes Performance wise I saw no difference than when I was using Duravanes...For the money,,,,I won't be buying them again...but they sure do look pretty.... VermontHunter
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes Dave, I have mine fletch with a slight right offset, after seeing no performance defference with a straight fletch and this still made no difference...but like I said they sure look pretty tho.. dogdoc
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes I have heard they are coming out with a 2 1/2 inch vane---less weight and they are suppose to spin the arrow just as well as the 4" so you might want to wait until the smaller ones come out. todd
VermontHunter
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes [ QUOTE ] I have been thinking about fletching my own arrows. Quick Spins are one vane that I want to try [/ QUOTE ] Dave I have some extras..I'll send ya 3 if you want to play around with one arrow and see what they can do....I didn't notice any difference from standard Duravanes and quick spins. Strut10
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes I have heard that the QS vanes are not nearly as durable as other vanes. Has anyone here seen this firsthand???

Has anyone here seen this firsthand??? [/ QUOTE ] I disagree with this accusation...they are plenty durable but, they don't perform as stated....I don't see a big boost in rotation as claimed and I don't see any better groups than if I was using a different vane...but they are plenty durable but, for the cost of these vanes I would stick with a vane such as Duravanes....JMO
VermontHunter
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes You just yell when Dave and they are in the mail....You can buy a JO-JAN Mono Fletcher fairly cheap...I believe around $35.00...but in any case just give me the word and I'll send ya 3 to play around with... AJ
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes I fletched a few arrows with them last year. I did not have any complaints about them other than price. I suggest shooting multiple dots when using broadheads. I have had the best broadhead groups past 30 yards with the QS vanes. I have fletched them right offset, right helical, and straight. I prefer right offset or helical. That baby does spin. I played around with them and cut some down to 2.5" last year to see how they would work. They still flew great. I will continue to use the QS vanes with the proper designed broadheads (fixed blade).

AJ
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes Some do think they are too heavy. When the arrow spins fast enough, the FOC does not matter. The arrow is stabilized faster due to the fletch and will penetrate as well or better than anything else.
