muggs
The small MAC school with a good basketball program and a stupid nickname will be dancing again. They made a run to the Elite Eight while I was a student there and their squad this year is really solid. They're not big, but they can play D. I think they just might make some noise in the tourney. If they meet a team with good forwards, it will be tough, but they make be a good team to pick as an upset.
MCH
OK, I'm confused. Is it Ohio State or Kent State?? Or is it the team that's playing the best at that time??? :D:D
buckbuster11
OK, I'm confused. Is it Ohio State or Kent State?? Or is it the team that's playing the best at that time??? :D:D Exactly. Hey Christopher, you know how you always rip me up for liking Pitt and Penn State? Well, what do you have to say for your boy muggs here ya DB? muggs
Exactly. Hey Christopher, you know how you always rip me up for liking Pitt and Penn State? Well, what do you have to say for your boy muggs here ya DB? Ohio State runs through any real Ohio man's blood. It's planted in their hearts and minds at infancy by the fathers. Now, Kent State is my alma matre (sort of) and I have to root for them. btw- what about this thread gave you the impression I was a fan? I only said they have a good squad. And if it comes down to the Bucks or the Flashes- it's Bucks everytime.

muggs
BTW--why am I watching the Kent St. Akron game right now? I'm assuming this is live, 2 days after you posted this thread. Jumping the gun a little, aintcha'? They would have made the tourney even if they didn't win the MAC...I think they have 28 wins this year. Anyway, you still think that was jumping the gun...they destroyed Akron. btw- Kent St. is only one of 8 or so teams that have won 20 or more games for the last 10 years. Duke, Kansas, UNC are three of the others. What a program.

craig mack
Hey Muggs, since you're so high on them, I have some tickets for sale for the midwest sweet 16. I dont think they will make it that far but you never know.
muggs
Yeah and what real powerhouses don't they play:rolleyes: Kinda like Hawaii in the BCS.......right..... They made it to the Elite Eight a few years ago, losing to Indiana, the eventual champion. Kent could have beat them, Indy just starting shooting lights out 3's and they couldn't hang with that. Last year, the took Duke to the wire at Cameron Indoor during the regular season. Duke hit a couple big shots and won by 5 or 6 only...not bad for a small MAC school. Craig, how much you asking for the tickets, and where are the games being played? I haven't even looked at a bracket yet.
Tominator
You honestly think they would have been an at large pick?
