LifeNRA
My daughter and I went down to this place Called Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area. The yearly migration of snow geese is making their way back north. What a sight to see! Ever see 50,000 snow geese lift up at one time! WOW! I forgot to mention that last week there was over 110,000 snow geese there! Here is a web site about this! http://www.pgc.state.pa.us/pgc/cwp/view.asp?a=487&q=159288

Bruce Schmeck
Was there on Sunday. It certainly is awe inspiring to witness up close. Something that you have to experience to really appreciate. The woosh of their wings when they all take flight and the honking and waves of birds in flight is something that you can't capture on film. Dubie
Its like that where I hunt in the fall...I have to shoot my limit of snows and scare them off before I can start calling in Canada's or some ducks (no room for them to come in and land until the snows take off). As far as I know, they're still listed as overpopulated, hence the very liberal limits here, and the spring snowgoose only season. And they taste allright. I like to make them into stirfry...
