Randy
Most taxdermist will have some capes that they will sell you for around, 75 bucks. Talk to your Taxidermist..

ilhnter
We did the same thing. We decided to mount a deer about 8 years after it was killed. My grandpa killed the deer in 1997 and we decided to have it mounted in 2005. We went to our taxidermist and he told us he a a bunch of extra capes and that he would try to find one to go with the rack. He did'nt charge us for the cape and the mount turned out really nice. You wouldn't even know that the cape and antlers weren't from the same deer if you didn't know it.
