My bass trips from last week

I got the urge to do a little fishing since i was on spring break last week. Had planned to just go out to my pond I've always fished, but my grandad asked me to try out our new pond for bass first. It is about 3 acres, and was stocked with bass 2 septembers ago. The catfish and bream are plentiful there, but we were yet to have seen a bass since they were put into the pond. We had found where otters had been dragging a few cats out and cranes have been frequent there so that had really scared us.

The first day i went out there i took a good friend of mine that i taught how to fish a couple years back and my youngest brother(Jon Reuben). Since we didnt know what it was going to be like we just fished the levy and in a few other spots that we could fish off the bank from. What we found were some very healthy basrs. I caught 2 and my friend caught 2, all ranging between 1 and 1.5 pounds. I was very surprised at how big they were. Went back another day for a 30 minute trip fishing off the bank and caught 2 more in the same range. Yesterday my dad and I got the boat out there and I caught 3 and him 1(though he missed several...he was rusty :D).

That pond is going to be awesome in the next few years! It is filled with structure, and also has 2 ditches running through it, and a small pond already in it. Give me 2 or 3 years and I'll show you some nice bass :D, but right now here are the pics of some from the first day. First two or mine, and second is biggest that my friend caught.
