aksheephuntress
.....I consume vast amounts of mayonnaise, whole milk, entire sticks of real butter, and crave fatty beef steaks once in a while...(also eat oatmeal, wild rice, game, and cabbage every day).... and end the day with 2 glasses of red wine. ....hmmmm... sticky buns sounds real good right now....I'm going to bake some for me and the kids right now!!!:D:D:D -Thanks for the idea, SRA!! -I guess my "RDA food pyramid" is like the "leaning tower of Pisa"!!!?? Tominator
Get you a bundt pan, 1/2 stick of butter, 1 cup pecans (optional for non-nut eating sissies), 1/2 cup of brown sugar, some butterscotch pudding mix (not instant), and a few Roades frozen dinner rolls. Chop the nuts, put 3/4 cup of the nuts in the bottom of the pan, put as many of the dinner rolls in the pan as possible ( I can usually fit 14 to 16), melt the butter and brown sugar in a pan, sprinkle pudding mix over the rolls, then spoon the brown sugar/butter mixture over the buns. Let that sit over night so the bread rises. In the morning, poke the buns down, stick in the oven at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining nuts when they come out of the oven. Flip the whole deal onto a big plate. That's pure yumminess right there, Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Tominator
i can feel my arteries hardening just from reading that, chris... The only "bad" thing is the butter, which, according to some recent studies isn't as bad as docs once thought, in fact, some say that margarine is worse. Once in awhile it's fun to indulge. Tominator
1.....Do I have to use only 1/2 stick of butter I guess you could use more. 2. ....Can I use almonds instead of pecans? Sure. 'Spose walnuts would work too. and, 3.....What if you don't have a bundt pan?(I've always wanted one, though). I suppose a cake pan might work, but the rolls really rise pretty high overnight; they might overflow or burn on the sides while baking.
