Duke got a bi to the 2nd round

The officiating was horrible and one sided in Duke's first round game. Here is a call that was broadcast as a "Great Save" it was one of 4 obviously bad calls in the last 2 minutes of the game that gave points the blue devils.

They should not have won this game.

Video quality almost as bad as the call. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v497/bandmasterjf/?action=view&current=dukesgift.flv

Yeah, it's not fair but a program like Duke is going to get the calls when they're playing a team like Belmont. Too bad though, I was really, really pulling for Belmont.

They matched up good against Duke, and that one guy was stroking a pretty three ball for Belmont, #20 I think it was.

What about that "Great defensive play" on the last inbound pass when Duke fouled 3 players to get the "Steal" , nearly ripping off the jersey of one and shoving another to the floor to get the ball. Defence is easy when you don't have to worry about those pesky foul things.

But of the video you posted my question is where was the D???

Yeah the call was wrong....but you still have to do the little things...

Belmont could have done several things to help themselves at the end IMO :o.....Like attempt to stop the guy that went the full length of the floor to shoot a lay up

Oh and I'm not a big Duke fan just to clarify for ya.:)

I think your looking for the word "by" and not "bi". One means 1.near to or next to: a home by a lake. 2.over the surface of, through the medium of, along, or using as a route: He came by the highway. She arrived by air. 3.on, as a means of conveyance: They arrived by ship. 4.to and beyond the vicinity of; past: He went by the church.

The other one is completely different and well.... you meant the first one. ROFLMAO.:D:eek::D

funy, I was watching the game and was thinking the total opposite, thought it was pretty bad in favor of belmont. blaming the win on that call, please, belmont still took the lead after that, and that inbounds steal, I seen no fouls, I seen picks being set and people fighting through like there always is on an inbounds pass, (especially that late in the game), and the kid threw a HORRIBLE pass to no where. how about them calling it out on duke when schyer went of a loose ball and the kid from belmont laying on the ground swiped it out of bounds? that was closer to the end of the game. I could point out just as many calls that went against them towards the end. bottom line, there were bad calls the whole game. that said, college basketball sucks when it come to officiating overall. I actually thought about making a post about it last night, but didn't, seems like they are calling WAY to many sissy calls the last few days. it's the NCAA tournament, you gotta let em play.

I can understand the point being made here though, everyone just wants Duke to fail, and wanted them to lose yesterday, and they didn't, now excuses are being made.
