I like most of them, but do not really have all that many videos. Guess it kind of depends on what I am in the mood for watching. For varmint calling, the primos Randy Anderson videos are great. For turkeys, the primos videos and realtree videos are great. Only drury stuff I have seen has been on the tv shows.

Of course, gotta watch the roadtrips shows and gettin close shows that come on the outdoor channel too.

I agree 100%. I prefer the dvds you can buy over the TV shows because I don't care to be sitting around waiting for their shows to come on. I don't tape or dvr anything. No time to fart around with that.

Can't think of too many I don't like. Larry Weishmushmouth is probably the only dude I can't stand. Favorites are probably Monster Bucks, Primos, and Drury, probably in that order.

The only thing I really hate about them, and it includes most of them, is the fake blood trail/discovery of the deer. "Hey, look over there!"

:D

Monsterbucks far exceeds all others for me. (Posting the P&Y, B&C inches is the selling)

Primetime Bucks ~ not too bad.

I have some Drury videos, they are ok.

I also bought some bearin down videos with Ralph and Vickie. The later ones are pretty good.

I've been meaning to get the whitetail freaks videos.

I enjoy anything with hunting, but my favorites are Primos and drury's. Sorry realtree, you'd be up there if it were for the 35 different angles you stage before showing the shot of the animal, first you see the deer coming in, then show the hunter, then the deer, then the hunter from the deers view, then the deer, then the hunter drawing, then the deer, then the view of the guys finger on the release, then the deer, then the shot, then the guy standing behind the deer...to much for me...show me the over the shoulder view, no editing...show me a little bit of trailing and the actual find, not the staged stuff like tominator said. I like primos and drurys because they'll give you more of a background on what they are doing and where they are. Drurys use ther own farms/leases, talk about food plots, show game cam pics etc...I have seen very few hunts from them at an outfitter, and when they do it is usually a prostaffer and not mark or terry. Primos, well they just tell it like it is, the only thing they edit out is them climbing out of the tree.

I'm not into most hunting shows anymore. A lot of the the scenes seem fake/staged. And really I'm not a big fan of the "antler mania" that goes on anymore. The second a turkey or a buck is on the ground these TV guys are already adding up the inches on their racks or measuring spur length with no regards or mention of the hunt or the animal. That stuff doesnt sit well with me, so that rules a lot of shows out for me right off the bat.

With that said, Roadtrips is the best thing going. You get to see other aspects of the hunt you don't see on other shows. I love the Drury Brothers videos too, except for the whole Dream Season competition thing. I'd rather see hunting be hunting, and not a game or competition.

Mine are: Drurys, Primetime, Road Trips, Primos, and Monster Bucks. The only thing I dont like about Monster Bucks is if you take out the Texas and Montana hunts you wouldnt have enough for one DVD. I dont like watching the Texas hunts, not my style. But I buy them every year anyways.

Btw, when the new ones coming out?

Hunter's Specialties Primetime series is my favorite. The biggest reason is that most of the hunts are in the midwest. I'm pretty sure once Greg Miller's TV show comes out, that will be my favorite. Especially if they put the season on DVD. I much rather watch midwest hunts than southern hunts.

....I thought this was a hunting VIDEO thread....doesn't matter,though-I've enjoyed everyone's posts...

-As far as VIDEOS....The FRED BEAR videos;hands down, my favorite!

-On TV....I have favorite hunters.....Stan Potts, Greg Miller, Fred Eichler, of course Michael......and Jim Shockey.

-The hunting shows I probably enjoy the most are Easton Bowhunting, Jim Shockey's Adventures, Jim Zumbo Outdoors, and Memories in the Field.

-Sometimes I like to watch Tred Barta(when he is not fishing)-he's hilarious.

-On the subject of outdoor videos in general....some of the most amazing footage I have seen, and I never tire of watching them....are the Gordon Eastman videos....unbelievable-breathtaking;and so educational on different species' behavior.
