just one more reason

Home page at bellsouth had this story at the top this morning, and could not resist checking it out. Do not agree with the title of the article(everyone, well all of us anyway, knows that people not guns kill people), but thought it was interesting none the less, article.

Seems to me in light of the problems with the firearms entering, that Mexican officials would be more and more willing to work with us on strengthening border control. Just another reason in my book to do whatever we have to do to seal off the border.

But, but, sealing the border might violate someone's civil rights! Let's shut down all the gun shows in the U.S. instead.

Nice sarcastic reply there Mike. That is exactly where this is probably headed and sounds like what we would expect to hear from our liberal lawmakers. Kind of figure that what the article is not pointing out is that the guns that are being obtained here in the US might not necessarily be being obtained legally here either.

Amazing. US law enforcement officers have been complaining for years about corrupt mexican law enforcement and their inability to enforce the law, help stop illegal immigration and help stop the flow of drugs into the US.

While I hate to see any LEO exposed to danger, now that the shoe is on the other foot...........

You're right. Instead of addressing the problem we'll probably shut down gun shows and legal gun ownership here.
