wildthing
:)I went and bought a new Scent Blocker suit this past weekend. I got the Realtree APG suit because I bought a Scentlock suit last year in Mossy Oak. Now I have 2 carbon suits that have camo patterns that go with the change in the seasons...gives me some variety. I know one thing...I spend a lot of money on hunting:) But then again...I bust my butt Mon-Fri to afford me obsessions!

Work hard, play hard is my motto! Enjoy the suits and best of luck to you while hunting!
Rem308
I also have 2 suits that I'll be using this year. I got to use the winter suit a good bit through the end of hunting season and never got cold in it. It's awesome and my old suit needed replacing. I also have a spring and early fall suit that is much lighter and the camo has more greens and all in it, so I'm anxious to give that a go. Can't wait to try it out this Spring. wildthing
Thanks guys...these suits that are out nowadays are awesome and I firmly believe they work because I have been downwind of deer and they just walked right by the stand. I keep them stored away and only bring them out during archery season...then I put them away again.

Ya know there are times I experience the same thing and think the suits are the reason deer can't smell me. Then at other times it seems the suits don't work at all. I honestly don't know just how effective they really are? I guess any advantage (no matter how small) might make the difference and that's what counts. wildthing
I firmly believe if the suits are taken care off properly they work! (For example, I only wear mine during the archery season...not gun or for any other game). I also shower in scent control soaps and body products, use sprays, etc. Basically, even though more costly, I have apparel for just archery and apparel for gun and other game. AdvantageTimberLou
One thing I have noticed, I can put my Scent Lok jacket in a zip loc bag then put my other non-carbon based coat in a zip loc bag and come back weeks later to do a scent test. I can't smell a thing in the Scent Lok zip-loc bag but I can smell an odor in the non carbon coat zip-loc bag. So to me its works, carbon does help absorb the odors and I know most of the debate is the reactivation of it in a normal clothes dryer but I have done that same test after its been in the dryer too. I will try any little advantage to beat a whitetail's nose!
