Our phone package we do not get free texting, costs I think .10 per text, however my wife gets text messages and replies on our phone occasionally. Agree with Tom here, can make a call just as easy. The only free text messages we get are ones from the phone company reminding us to recalibrate our phone once a year. WHISKEYSWAMP Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 a buddy and I use it while stand hunting just to see if there's any action and to keep each other awake..lol personally, I don't see anything illegal about that. when I was seeing my ex, from Phoenix, we'd text all the time to keep in touch. total disaster Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 I text alot me and Alisha text to keep in touch with her in WV and me here in NS its hard to just call all the time or to get online and chat... we send each other around 1000 a month or more just letting each other know whats going on...why I am hunting I will text her too to let me know how I doing and that i am ok (I hunt seaducks from a boat alone) I think text is a great thing for us but if i could call her without paying soo much I would no question but as it is now its the way to go for us Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

coles Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 i text more that what is probably healthy for me. my last phone said i had sent over 17,000 texts in just over a year and with the new phone i just got a month ago i already have 3,516 sent. crazy huh? good thing i have unlimited. sometimes its just easier to text than make a phone call especially since i dont always get good enough service in my apartment to call.
