hey all been a while but i got me a nice 3-pointer this last fall. he is a perfect three on both sides but he as 3 browtines, one on his right antler and two on his left that is split. i used me ol' 7mm mag with 150gr ballistic tip over 63 grains of imr 4831. Shot over the top of him once and on the second shot he went down. and i missed a chance on him earler in oct tober. lmao. but i got him. well tell you all more later.

Congratulations Modillo on your buck. Sounds like a 6 pointer Minnesota count. Or don't you count brow tines? From your discription he could be a nine point with a three by three frame plus brow tines. Or he could have 3 brows 2 beams and one other point? I know western hunters only count one side. In our camp we count every point over an inch.

Post a picture please.

Congrats. Feel like I'm wishing my life away waiting on fall to get here. Have turkey hunted for years but the deer bug has got under my skin. This coming fall will only be my second season. Man, it's great! Last year was still so black couldn't see hand in front of my face but one came ripping past me snorting & stomping!! I loved it!
