Just wanted to know what you guys think of this patterning session. went this morning.

shot at 20 yards too many pellets to count, but real nice tight pattern in the center.

shot at 30 yards had about 45 pellets in the head and neck region of the turkey target.

shot at 40 yards 14 pellets in the head and neck region.

This was all shot with my browning bps 12 gauge in the nwtf model with the 24" barrel.

using winchester supreme hv in 3 1/2 2oz #5 shot.

what do you guys think. Also heading to kentucky on april 10 for their opening weekend on april 12,13,14. really, really pumped wish me luck. thanks and take care. rick

sorry, i must have forgotton. kicks gobblin thunder in the .680

With the right choke in a Browning you can squeeze the Win HVs much tighter. Most guns top out with a peak performance on these loads with a 665.

The Brownings can go even tighter.

BPSs are notorious for patterning high. Fiber optic sights or a scope make a BIG difference.

What you're getting right now sounds plenty good enough but I feel pretty certain that gun is capable of even better.
