Bob LeBlanc
Re: Here Comes a Nasty Noreaster!!!!! Yup...it's nasty out there. The municipality (Halifax) is pretty much shut down. They've pulled the buses off the roads, and the highways although open, are in white-out conditions. My wifes office just called to say they are shut down for the day too! DRATS!!! Here I sit with 6 cups of coffee into me...no sense in even trying to go back to bed to sleep! Hope the neighbor got his snowblower fixed! wtnhunt
Re: Here Comes a Nasty Noreaster!!!!! The forecasters called for usto hit the mid 40's on Saturday and Sunday on their Friday evening news report. Never got out of the 20's had a pretty good north wind here yesterday and had some light flurries that were not in the forecast. The windchills here yesterday stayed inthe single digits all day. Hard to believe it was around 70 just last Wednesday.

wtnhunt
Re: Here Comes a Nasty Noreaster!!!!! Just looked at the thermometer a few minutes ago, 14. Only supposed to get to like 34 here today, but if it is anything like yesterday it will likely never make it. Not likely to see any snow accumulation here, big snows always seems to skip here and we either get ice or freezing rain mix .
