TexasDeerHunter
I have had my sights set on getting a Randall knife for hunting, but my budget just would not allow it anytime soon. Well, a good friend of mine decided he wanted me to have one so he purchased this Model 27 and presented it to me as a gift. What a friend! fly
True friends are a blessing. Anyone ever heard that if a friend gives you a knife you should give him/her a coin to keep the friendship strong?

Yeah, I am chompin at the bits to get some blood on that blade. Hoping to maybe score on a summer axis hunt and get it broke in good. Adjam5
You do have a great friend. Congrats on the gift! Randall are world class knives that will only go up in value. Good Luck with it. Just so you know...high carbon steel will stain from blood. The finish will never be the same if it becomes a working knife. Like taking a Porche off road:D. Yep I know, but this knife was intended to be a tool and I will definately use it. Randall offers a few tips on how to preserve the finish. It's amazing how the value of Randall's have went up in the last few years.
