Chrud
I bought a new Encore Pro Hunter a couple weeks ago and finally got to shoot it a few times today. I went with APP Jim Shockey Gold because that is what everyone around here uses. It works as advertised, clean up was a breeze. However, I don't know if I'm real fond on the square design. Its obvious when loading that the corners get rubbed off. I don't know if it is enough to really effect accuracy, I had 2" groups with open sights. How is Triple 7 as far as clean up? That would probably be my alternative to APP.

Guest SuperKirby
Triple 7 is made specifically to clean up with hot water, no chemicals whatsoever. However a lot of people that shoot it also complain about a little "crud" ring that builds up where the base of the pellet sat upon ignition. If you decide to shoot loose instead of pellets, this becomes less of a problem.
wtnhunt
Switching over to triple 7 here for this year. Had been using pyrodex loose powder, tried shockeys gold in the powder form and did not like it at all.
TCFORLIFE
I use pyrodex and my brother was using tripple 7 and we both have the omega and his always takes longer to clean.
Tominator
I use 2 pyrodex pellets. It's the only thing I've ever used, so I really can't compare it to anything else, but I wouldn't say clean up is too bad with it. I get MOA results with that powder and a T/C Shockwave, so I don't think I'll be changing anytime soon.
redryder
Clean up Do not worry about clean up time. Use whatever shoots the best out of your gun.
Guest skidmark
I was skeptical at first about using pyrodex pellets in my Omega but after a trip to the range with 250 gr. shockwaves it put my questions to rest I too am sub MOA, cleanup is not bad, but it was also the first time I felt the crud ring when swabing between shots. I very happy with their proformance.
brownie65
I have been shooting 777 loose powder. Have also shot the pellets. OI think both are quick & easy to clean.
