Two more of us from Central Pa (Lancaster County) are headed out to Morrowville, in Washington County (North central / Northeast). We will be hunting 4/21, 22, & 23. A high school football buddy of mine, some guy named Rob Keck, said there so many turkeys in Kansas that even Ray Charles could shoot a bird or two. I hope he's right about the quantity...pulling the trigger will just be a bonus.

Good luck guys, and I'm hoping you have safe travels, and safe hunts!!

Joe

As PA Spike King has said I have hunted in KS now for 4 or 5 years. Last year I got 2 longbeards in the spring and a hen and a jake in the fall. I haven't came back empty handed yet. I recall the first year I hunted out there with my son-in-law we made a call near daylight and at least 15 turkeys gobbled back. Made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and I don't believe it has come down yet and that was 4 or 5 years ago. Lol
