Where and when is the moose hunt? -I'm sorry, Catrina...I didn't see your post here, at first... ...I promise I'll have some more specific details before this Sunday... -The preliminaries are... When: August 19th 2009 .....(could be as long as 10 days...) Where: Crescent Lake (unit 7), out of Seward , Alaska.... -Non-resident tags are available over-the-counter... -It's either $400, or $425 for a moose tag... -and $225 for a black bear tag... (no guide required, for these species...-and we will all be scounting/ hunting in pairs, or groups...) -Awesome fishing / canoeing in the lakes in that area...for Rainbow trout, Grayling, and Dolly Varden...(F&G stock the lakes , as well..) ...There is a large forestry cabin there I am reserving, and we will set up wall tents, as well....
