buckee
Sorry to here your daughter got the pox. I'm glad she's feeling better. Yes, it is a shame that parents don't have the brains to keep their kids home from school when they are sick. In todays world with both parents working in most households, and working under the threat of maybe losing your job if you put your family before your work, it's no wonder some folks make the wrong choice and ignore their childs and other childrens needs. I'm not trying to make excuses for any of these parents, I'm just spewing off, because I don't think it's right that both parents are forced to go out and work these days in order to make ends meet. TreeWalker
Re: Chicken pox I wish I would have gotten them as a kid..................but NOOOOOOOO, I had to get the when I was 26 years old !!!!! I thought I was gonna die, LOL.........Even though I was still relatively young at that time, that dang CP wrecked me pretty good..........I could hardly muster the strength to get up just to go to the bathroom............let alone to the fridge, LOL !! Tominator
Re: Chicken pox well, it's only a matter of time before my 4 children get it. i agree that parents should keep kids home, i know i do my best. it is a shame that today's economic market puts pressures on the parents, but that is no excuse for exposing other kids to something like the pox. the only other thing i can say is that, is there a chance that the contagious girl hadn't broken out yet and therefore didn't know she was contagious. hope that's the case, otherwise that's not right to send a sick kid to school. dartonman
Re: Chicken pox I got a second dose of them at 32 years old....yep, caught them a second time....and my kids never caught them from me or anyone else....I must of caught them from a federal or immigration inmate...thats the only thing that scares the heck out of me in my line of work, you never know what the thugs have when they arrive to jail.......I hope she does better, I am afraid to tell you, but the youngest will probably get them within the 14-21 gestation period......I feel for you.....God Bless..AL
