okbowman
After an overseas opener, and a Sunday night game in Washington's new park, baseball is in full swing. Do you care?
Muff
Sorry to say I don't care....not a big ball fan....I keep track of it and all and watch the high lights...but never sit down and watch a game.

MCH
Do I care??? I live for this day. My Dodgers beat the Gnats 5-0. Penny pitched great and Kent and Furcal tore the cover off the ball. Pretty good start to what I hope is a great year.
Chrud
It sounded like Sheets pitched real well. I'm glad the Brewers we able to get a quick run in the top of the 10th.

buckbuster11
Enjoy it while you can. Won't last long. Please. My boys are just getting warmed up. Heck I dont even think I am going to have to work for this one. I might be the first fantasy league owner to win his league without making a single free agent pickup all season. muggs
I care. Unfortunatly the Tigers lost to K.C. I love MLB. Doesn't surprise me at all. I think the Royals are going to be a decent team this year. It's not like they'll win the division or anything, but they won't be as bad as they've been for the last 20 years. Now, the Reds are one team I'm high on. I think they'll be right there with the Cubs for that division...but probably won't have enough to win it. If Homer Bailey can turn it around and do something for them at the major league level, that will be a big boost and a pretty solid rotation. buckbuster11
Nah, Reds don't have squat for pitching do they? Of course, in that division it might not matter..........

I think Harrang is very underrated, Arroyo is still solid, just coming off a bad year and if Bailey can do anything for them they'll have a decent staff. They have a good bullpen too. buckbuster11
Well Bailey isnt going to do squat for them down in AAA.

muggs
Well Bailey isnt going to do squat for them down in AAA. That's what I'm saying, if he can turn it around and do something for them this year, it would be a wild card for them. That offense is pretty solid all over though. Chrud
Now, the Reds are one team I'm high on. I think they'll be right there with the Cubs for that division... No mention of Milwaukee? If Sheets can stay healthy, they'll be pretty tough. Remember, Braun didn't start playing until the end of May. If he continues to play like he did last year, he'll be putting up MVP type numbers. muggs
No mention of Milwaukee? If Sheets can stay healthy, they'll be pretty tough. Remember, Braun didn't start playing until the end of May. If he continues to play like he did last year, he'll be putting up MVP type numbers. Sheets gets hurt every year though, doesn't he? They should be there too but I'm not liking Gagne at the back end of that pen either. Great young talent all over that lineup though. You really think Braun can hit at that level this year? I really don't see Braun being able to repeat what he did last year. He still has the ability to overcome the league adjusting to him, but there's no way anyone can rake like he did, especially with the scouting reports out there. He still should have a good year, just not what everyone is expecting of him I don't think.
