lil hunter Posted January 16, 2005 Report Share Posted January 16, 2005 After church this mornin,dad asked me if I wanted to run down to Owensboro KY and by my new rifle. Well, of course, i said yes. I looked at 2 17hmr's. Both the same gun,(savage 93R17-GV) except one had a heavy varmint barrel, I spent the extra 20 for the big barrel. I looked at all the scopes, and bought a bushnell Trophy 3-9x40. I was really wanting a 2-7x32, but they didn't have any of that size, that I liked. I picked up 100 rounds of hornady V-max ammo, and got my scope mounted and boresighted. Now I just need to hit the range with it. I'll get a pic for you guys soon.
