Not sure what killed it but with the blue tongue that hit last year that is possible. They say that it, blue tongue, can just make a deer sick and kill them at a later date. Of course he could have died from winter, gunshot, etc....but we won't know for sure. We have watched him for the past couple years.....he would have been a monster next year! I'm guessing the trail pics from Feb of 2007 was last years rack, the one with the split G2 was this years rack. Hate to see that, such a great buck.
