Picked him up from daycare, and on the way out as we were going up the stairs (we always race) he says "dad, your pocket is out." I immediately think "great, all day with my pocket out, bet my students had a good time with that..." Yesterday, I took a picture of me, with my belly pushed as far out as I could get it.....and took a side view pic of it. Then this morning before I headed off to work, I emailed the picture to my fiance's moms email addy. The subject line said..... "Guess what you're gonna be!" and inside it said in all caps.... A GRANDMA! Then went on to explain how excited my parents were, and that Justin and I already picked out baby stuff, ect. Well not long after she looked at the email she gave Justin a call and asked if we were playing a joke, which he went along with for a little while before telling her April Fools! She said that the joke was on us because she was disappointed! She also said that she and Justins Dad were trying to figure out how far along I am, and if it were possible since we only spent time together in Oct. and November..... and then again last month. I took out my cell phone, called our office and had him paged. I acted as a lawyer for the State of Wisconsin and said that the lawsuit had fallen through and he and his wife would get nothing. I told him that while collecting some samples for botany class I found a match set of a 150 class 10 pt. I went on with the story for about 5-6 min and then asked him what was the date.
