NiteRunner
Well Ohio, how are the Birds Gobbling in your area? Heard a few Gobbles this past Sunday, nothing real crazy just one or two Gobbles every few minutes. Are you seeing any acticity yet?
WHISKEYSWAMP
haven't had time to scout yet... I might head over and check my trailcam this weekend if I can make it. I haven't seen any activity around my area yet... not even a bird sighting all winter.
maytom
That's one state I'd like to try for a spring hunt someday, since Ohio and PA are the two closest to NY!!
fenderhunt4
I heard one sound off five or six times on the Monday after Easter. I've yet to see any strutting around in fields. I'm sure they are though. I definitely have not seen as many birds these last two years as I have in the past!? Many of my turkey hunting friends have reported that same. I'm not sure what's up. NiteRunner
Well I went scouting this weekend, THEY"RE VOCAL!! Nothing real Crazy, but it is getting more intense. Got tickets to the show even! Pulled back to our one sopt and heard some hens followed by a couple gobblers. Walked in a little further to listen better and they quit. As we were standing there I spot some comign our way so we duck behind a tree. They all came in and were picking around and showing off, hens were 10-15 yards away and the Boys were 30-50 Yards. 4-5 Full Fans!! It was Awesome!
