Holy Smoke those are great pics Kathleen!!!!!! My favorites were the Christmas Grizzly, the baby in the pappoose and of course making jam while wearing your Realtree.:D You truely live in a wild place. Thanks for sharing them with us.

...Thankyou,RangerClay!....

-Hey, the bear is a Kodiak Brown Bear, #18 B&C...TC (my guy) harvested . -You should have seen the undertaking to transport it in the back of a pick-up, and get it into the house, from picking it up from the taxidermist!!(from 120 miles N. of here)

- Funny thing about my RT shirt...that jam picture was taken last fall, months before I joined the forums, here!

-The pic w/ the boys on the Honda Rancher(I just got off the wheeler to take the pic of the kids, and the flooding trail...Rebekah was on my back...), was our last trip out from our cabin up north on the Westfork of the Chena....kinda sad time..

-You could probably notice the aftermath of the forest fire that ravaged 20,000 acres (2002)- and choked us within 250 yards of our cabin.

-I was trapped in there for a week;-another story.

-Ruth is the baby in the papoose carrier(with my .338...she was one week old; her first moose hunt!:)-TC flew out with friends to hunt, so I decided to go look for a moose myself...ended up with brown bear all around, though-) that cradleboard was a gift years ago -it came from Arizona.......Jed, Rebekah, and Ruth have all hiked many miles in it.......

-Rebekah is the baby in the cradleboard in the winter picture....2002-months before the forest fire;she is 6 now.

Montana and Mackenzie are harvesting our potatoes....and mackenzie is seen in his element, in the middle of Trail River fishing in his waders...

-We spend a lot of time around Ressurection Bay from may-June-July.....it's our homeschool classroom...

-The halibut was Jed's first, last year....:)-and he is the one being funny, trying to ride on "Lunk"-one of our dogs that hauled our wood and water...(he was 2, then).

-The meat hanging is from that forked horn moose...Jed is sitting underneath it-

-Rebekah is holding the Tok ram horns; and helping cut meat from the latest moose...the picture of her in front of Ressurection Bay, is my favorite of her...that was Mother's day last year...

-

-Well......lots of memories....lots of work....trials and tribulations....I'm thankful for all of it.

-Looking through these pictures just brought back so many memories-

-and, more to come!-God willing...

-I am enjoying everyone's pictures!!....Memories ,and our children,are priceless.....:)
