huntdux
I have a 29" draw length and shoot Easton Axis 400's and I'm thinking about having them cut down or maybe buying a new 1/2 dozen. What length arrow do some of you shoot that seems to give you good accuracy and a flatter shot.
8ptbuckpa
when I was at a 29 inch draw(just a couple weeks ago) I shot 28 in arrows the rule of thumb my shop goes by is draw length-1"= arrow length Brad
Adjam5
Doesn't your draw length get determined by what rest you are using? Some rests are set more towards the string and some are set towards the riser. A whisker biscuit will make for a shorter arrow where as a drop away would make for a longer one. I shoot a NAP Quicktune 3000 rest have a 29" draw and shoot and shoot a 29" Beman 380-16.

huntdux
Thanks guys, I shoot a Pronghorn fall-away with 29" arrows and have about 1 1/2 inch past my rest at full draw.
HUNTINGMAN
Not for sure what length but I allways cut my arrows to where they stick out about 1" from my rest, this gives clearance for my broadheads.Shooting the biscuit lets me feel ok with this for there is no way for the arrow with the broadhead to fall off the rest and onto my hand and reduceing the chance you will be cut on accident.
