Shaun_300
Hey everyone, I'm sittin' here in Regina, Saskatchewan at the hotel and wanted to say hello to my RT friends. Everything went well with the interview. Everyone that works there is awesome. Lots of friendly people! The owner of the dealership even said that I can store my 4-wheeler at his place in his garage and I can come get it whenever I want to use. I think I am going to go for it. I can work overtime until I'm blue in the face, so there's lots of money to be made! Was surprised when he said the door rate is $104.75/hour, in a town of 1500! That's what it is at most shops in Ottawa! The land is amazing out here, flat as a pancake in most spots and some rolling hills in others. Just north of where I'll be working is a provincial park, it's got some nice hills with lots of wildlife around. Saw some deer too! I have lots of pics I took, I'll post them when I get home tomorrow. My flights went well other than a little turbulance in the Toronto area, didn't last very long though. I've never flown in a commercial jet in my life, man was it ever fun. Especially takeoff! Feels like you're in a Corvette when they put the hammer down in those things. Well, just wanted to say hello, my flight leaves at 5am tomorrow so I'll be in bed early. Thanks for all the "good luck" wishes.

sureshot
yep steve they called a town just south of him antler sask, it deserves its name, alot of huge deer there every fall, also the moose jsut south of him, its alot of pockets of brush surrounded by farmlandwith marshes, greta food and everythign needed for farmland moose, they opened a season 2 years ago and a ton of 60 inch bulls were taken,[50 tags I believe]the best part of that area is I believe its all hunting on foot, you cannot drive around the brush piles to scare a deer out, that is why they grow better there than here were every idiot drives all day! I hope he gets it, would love to hunt that area more!

Awesome lookin whitetail country for sure! Along with the rest of the area... It's pretty well a guarantee that I'm coming out Bret, can't wait to hunt with ya bud! Geez Bret you're getting me more pumped up everytime you post! Sounds like a plan bud, heck you could even come for a weekend and stay at my place, if I get that apartment in Kenosee Lake it's a two bedroom, so lots of room! There's definetly lots of miles to cover up in that area.
