Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
This may need to be moved, but I figure it pertains to scent control and storage. Has anyone used these space saver bags to store their hunting clothes? I have seen em a few times in the store, but I finally bought one today. It's the one where you put it in the bag, use the vacuum to take the air out and compress it down, and it has a strage tote bag to put it it, supposed to be able to hold a decent amount. I'm going to try it tomorrow so I'll let ya know how it works

wtnhunt
Have thought about it Lee, but never have bought any of the vaccuum(space saver) bags. Still using plastic totes here.
fly
Have thought about it Lee, but never have bought any of the vaccuum(space saver) bags. Still using plastic totes here. Same here. I just make sure I activate my clothes in the dryer prior to the hunt.
HOYTnMUZZYboy
Still use the plastic totes myself. Thought about useing those spacesaver bags but wasn't real sure on the smell on the inside of the bag. With the totes i just sit them outside for a week or so and they dont smell like plastic anymore. But looks like it works great!
Guest itownhunter
I tried space saver bags for the first time this year on all my carbon items. I just sprayed the outsides of them down with a little fresh earth let them dry and put them in. Sure takes up alot less room now.

Rayzorp
I've been using the space saver bags for some time now. I picked up some scented dryer sheets from Walmart, stuck a couple in the bag. The first time, there was a slight plastic smell, but after the second run, smell went away. None the less, I still aired then out for a few days. But you can't beat taking up less space
dbHunterNY
I bet that saves a lot of room.... I have my clothes in the BIG zip lock bags....then those I put into the big totes. Since I've been wearing Scentblocker and doing other stuff, I've kept my stuff in those (Ziploc XXL Big bags) they seem to work alright I think. I'm pleased with them.
