Guest gfourhunter
Re: Favorite Broadheads for Turkey? gold tip broad heads that are dull. not junk, just the ones i target shoot with. i like the arrow to stick into the turkey and not pass through, keeps the bird from running if hit wright in the wright spot. i use only the sharpest gold tip for deer. just my op. it works for me. hoyt19
Re: Favorite Broadheads for Turkey? Do you have the arrow to anchor the turkey, or are you tryng for a pass through. This will be my 4th year turkey hunting, killed 7 birds with a shotgun, gonna try throwing arrows this year.

elkoholic
Re: Favorite Broadheads for Turkey? Mini-Max 3 expandable, it has a 2" cutting diameter and with razor sharp blades it works extremely well on turkey.
VTbowman
Re: Favorite Broadheads for Turkey? I hear say most guys who hunt turks with a bow like mech heads over fixed bladed. Not all but most. I would go with the widest cut you can and go for shock more then pass-threw. JMO SpitFires and Rockets are 2 types I hear guys are using most. I use Rockets for deer so I am used to and set up for shooting mech heads already. This is hear say not experience so take it with a grain of salt. I am still playing around with turkeys, it being my 2nd year up coming, and I am sticking with my shotgun for now. Once I learn more about them I will try my bow and a blind. Good Luck!
