stick
I just moved from Oklahoma last year and had done most of my hunting in the evening while I was there. The easiest thing to do is find out where they are coming off of the roost in the morning then be there about 2 hours before dark and just do some soft calling and be real still. they should come in real easy. Like I said before I have done it many times in the past.
Leo
This will help you fine tune that strategy a little. If the flocks haven't busted up yet. Turkeys will often congregate in an open area where they can see each other clearly before flying up to roost. This area will be near the roost area. Near but not necessarily right under it. If you find the evening "Launch Pad". You have a major evening hot spot. After the flocks have broken up because of breeding, lonesome toms will still check out the launch pad areas "just in case". Launch pads are easier to find when there are flocks. If you know where they are roosting try and listen for where they are flying from. Sometimes turkeys fly quite a bit further than merely straight up to roost. 100yds is not all that uncommon.
