Live N Learn (pics)

Took some pics this weekend, but also used the wrong settings. Guess that is the best way to learn though, unfortunatly. Would have had some sweet pics, had I known more what I was doing. Anyway, here they are.

This first pic is of my horses. I tried the nightshot feature, which slowed down the shutter speed, thus showing every little shake I made, thus blurring the picture.....will use a different setting next time. smirk.gif

The next 2 pics are of wood ducks. First one, just didn't take it at a good time....that's understandable. The second pic.....well, after the ducks left, I realized I had my camera on the wrong setting, which had my exposure settings programmed. Oops.....better make sure I'm on the right setting next time. Too bad I missed a good chance at such beautiful birds. Chalk it up to inexperience. Also could have had a little camera shake, which sure didn't help, along with all the brush in the way!!!!

Finally!! A good picture! Not hard to get a good picture when your subject doesn't walk or swim and you can take your time! This is some flooded timber I walked to not far from my house. Saw a greenhead and tried to get closer, but he saw me too. frown.gif Have to settle for this pretty pic. wink.gif
