Any of ya'll ever heard of it or tried it? ...Gee, I'm getting a hankering for waffles, now, just hearing you mention them...haven't fixed them in YEARS....I'll have to get the waffle iron out of the crawl space and fix a batch.....oh, if only I had some of that GOOOOOD Maple syrup from Rangerclay's neck of the woods.....we make Birch syrup, up here.....but the ratio of how much syrup you actually end up with is heart breaking....-we ran out 3 years ago, anyway....... ....BTW....What's 'Popeye's "fried chicken??-does it have a spinach marinade?? davetucker Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 up here in northern maine way at the tip they have something called ploy's!!They are a thin kinda grit pancake thingy!!I never had one but they eat them with syrup,chicken gravy,sausage gravy,ect....!!This made me think of it when i read this thread!!Have had plenty options don't know why i haven't tried yet.In fort Kent they even have a ploy festival!!!
