Bowtech_archer07
Just got a call from a friend that he saw a 180-190" deer still running around with both antlers on. Saw him this morning feeding on land he has permission to hunt on. I hope he gets em.. That is a great deer!!!

Zambo
It sure seems late for bucks to still be holding thier antlers. However I did see a one antlered buck last week. We had a couple of bucks drop in mid December so thats almost a four month span of bucks shedding in the local herd. Amazing.

sureshot
seen one this am still with headgear, last year found a fresh shed with blood still on that fell on a main grid on april 15, seems to depend on the nutrition and winter they had, these past 2 winters were mile with little snowfall so food was easy and rut was easy not super cold, they held on longer, a few years back we hadton of snow and and cold winter startign on oct, the deer were all shed by jan 15 or so,
Bowtech_archer07
Ya, but sure, the past two winters here have two of the worst I've seen.. granted i'm only 19, but this year and last year have been 2 hard winters. Lots of snow and freezing cold temps. I dunno, I just think it's kinda weird that they're holding on this long..
