MCH Posted April 10, 2008 Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 Here's a pic of one type of scope jason: Basically, they're used to magnify target area. The one shown above is "drilled". A hole was drilled in the center and a piece of fiber optics was placed in it. There are several different types though. Some may have just a single "up" pin and some can be added to your hunting sight. My experience from shooting one? It magnifies more than the target. It will also magnify your movements as well. Once I shot my target bow for a while and then picked up my hunting bow, I swear the pin on my hunting bow would not move at all. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Spot Hogg makes a scope lens that goes over a 4 or 5 pin sight. but they are very expensive. i think there sights are like 150 bucks without the lens. the lens runs about 70 bucks and the lens adapter costs 30. so you have about 250 bucks in just a sight for your bow. that might be just a tad more than you are willing to spend. but i dont know maybe your rich?
