WHISKEYSWAMP
Seen something vary rare tonight while driving home from town… a badger. I’ve heard of people accidentally trapping them around here but never thought I’d ever see one. He was only about 40 yards off the road burrowing his den. I shined my lights on him for a little while and watched him as he watched me..lol just thought it was cool and wanted to share.

WHISKEYSWAMP
what gets me after driving by there this morning to work is that it's digging it's den not more than 30 yards off the road in an open field.

turkeybuster
That would be pretty cool. I've never seen a badger in person. It would be kind of cool though.
Tominator
Didn't know we had badger in Ohio.
OJR
I saw them quite regularly in MN when I was a kid. They really created problems in the pasture. The cattle would step in the old holes. I have seen a couple in eastern WA. Once I saw a female with 3 little ones! They have a very short fuse! LOL!!!
