Saskbuck40
Went out and found over 150 muley sheds on the weekend. Heres the pics. Goin out again this weekend to find another hundred or so, lol. I'm glad to call Saskatchewan my home. This trip was amazing and we didnt even scratch the surface of this area. Lots of sheds, but even better... permission to bowhunt here in the fall. Shed City, Saskatchewan. All sorted out, kind of. Unloading the truck BIG Single These two actually arent a set, pretty damn close tho. Thats half of two booner bucks. Young non-typical set. This deer could potenially be in the 200's. Two monster singles in the 80+ inch range.

Washi
We very seldom find any sheds around here. I think part of the problem is we have billions of squirrels and they chew them up before we have a chance to find them. The few we have found have been chewed on. Nice haul by the way. Saskbuck40
Thanks guys, it's not that easy though. It's miles upon miles of 60 degree slope, cactus filled, rattlesnake infested rugged to say the least deer country. I went back this weekend (just got home a couple hours ago) and picked up around 140 more just today and yesterday. Therefore my honeyhole is prettymuch picked clean. I wont be able to go back to that hot spot for 2 or 3 years in order for the sheds to magically appear in the hills again. What a treat though, wow. I think its safe to say my shed hunting for the year is prettymuch done. Rattlesnakes and ticks have come out to play in the south and the bears are out and hungry in the north country. Im up well over 300 sheds for the year and its time to lay off the antlers and start gettin my bear bait together.
Bowtech_archer07
OMG Sask, that is just unbelievable that you can find over 300 sheds in 4 days of walking. WOW  Congrats. I'm sure you're ecstatic. How long has it been since you looked this place over before? Did you use a 4-wheeler to cover a lot of it? How many of those sheds were this years? Just curious. Congrats Again!!
turkeybuster
Well looks to me like you had a lot of fun lol. I think you will probably have a pretty good season hunting to.
Saskbuck40
Yeah, thats the thing. The ecology is very brittle there, so no atv's allowed. She's all walkin'. Most of the areas i look in are super steep banks that you couldn't ride a horse in let alone an atv. Excercise is never a bad thing. It's funny how your arms end up more tired than your legs from carryin em all.
Bowtech_archer07
Never had that problem Sask where my arms were tired from carryin em all out.. LOL The most sheds I've come out with is a skull and 1 side. If you had to guess, how many of those sheds were this years?
