Chrud
We just got 6" of snow Tuesday night. Really windy and a rain/sleet/snow mix right now. We're in the 3-6" range for Friday night and into Saturday. I never remember getting this much snow in one winter. I remember when I was a kid we'd have some winters with a lot of snow, but its been a long time since the snow in the woods has still been knee-deep during the second week of April. turkeybuster
That sucks. Its been doing nothing but rain here. I'm sick of the weather. And after this weekend there calling it to be in 60's for awhile. I just can't figure out how the weather can be like this. I just can't wait for summer

Chrud
It rained all day yesterday until about 2:00 PM and then changed to snow. Martin, we sure do have a lot of snow yet. Even in wide-open places we still have 18" or so. Unless we get a bunch of 50's and 60's with rain, I don't see being able to walk through the woods without troubles until the end of April. So much for having my stands in place before May.
Guest Finn
Man, it's tough plowing this crap....almost like trhing to push sludge 30 minute trip to work took 55 minutes last night
Ravin R10 man
Finn,, I know its tough stuff to plow..it wont even slide off the plows on our town equipment ...then you either are in the gravel or the plow rides up on a drift. We just got the last road open here, and many yards are so soft the trucks get stuck as soon as you lift the plow, front tires sink, and there you are..waiting for a tow! any ways here is a drift behind my house..its 5 feet and 100 foot long out by the road where it is 6 foot..and its solid as a brick! and as you can see its still blowing!! Now I'm not complianing, I asked for moisture!!
