help please

i currently belong to a deer camp in southern arkansas, and i only get off of work enough in the summer to go down once maybe posibly twice if it rains at the right time ( i own a 2000 rice and soy bean farm) and i was wondering if there was some mineral bloacks or seed i could plant in july that might bearound in mid november. any help would be greatly appreciated

but it will do much better if you plant it this fall and then it will come on strong next spring and then be there for years to come if you will mow it 2-3 times per year and spray it with Raptor herbicide once per year in mid-spring.

For minerals, I have tried several and not had any lack of response from any. Seems for us the best results have come with the trophy rocks. They are expensive, but they do work very well. Other minerals will work too, deer cain and whitetail addiction are about the same, have also used loose minerals and dical as well as plain old mineral blocks.

For plots, would agree chickory makes a good fall planting. We add chickory to our clover trefoil plots planted in the fall. Winter rye grain and winter wheat are also good to plant in the fall.
