My DXT has landed

Well.. just got home a little while ago from Targeteers in New Jersey. I picked up a brand new 2008 Mathews DXT. She cost a pretty penny all said and done, but it'll be well worth it in a few weeks when spring turkey comes in. I already split some nocks at the shop! And those weren't even my arrows!! :D

Anyway.. here are a few snap shots of the bow.. These pics are kinda crappy because they were taken in the basement. I'll take better pics tomorrow in the sunlight and put them up on here.

I didn't get it in all black like I had originally planned, but after looking it over and over, I relaized the Lost Camo pattern was actually nicer than the black. So I stayed with the camo and he had one in my size in stock, still new in the box.

Here's the whole setup:

'08 Mathews DXT - 27"/70#

Sure-Loc QC 2 sight ( 5 .019" pins )

Mathews HDII Convertible Rest (I have it as a drop away)

6" Doinker Chubby Hunter w/ A-bomb

Sims Limbsavers & string leeches

G5 1/4" Meta Peep

Mathews T5 arrow quiver

This bow shoots like a dream and I love it. IMO, the grip is way better than the grip my Ross had. Not to mention the detachable quiver is nice.

So yes.. I have joined the darkside and I think I'm going to stay here for a while. :p

My, oh my, Joe, I like it! What a beautiful new bow!

My husband shoots one of the first solo-cam bows by Mathews, and technology has certainly advanced from then to now. I think your "testimonial" (complete with nice photos) just might help him make the leap and finally buy a new one!

Congrats on one nice bow. (Even though it's not a Parker. :D;))

Thanks everyone.. I shot it some more today with some CX Edge 350's I had laying around. Still getting a feel for it. I gotta fletch up my Goldtips and I'll be ready.

I didn't take any pics though because it was overcast and kinda nasty all day. If tomorrow is nicer, I'll take some.

Laura... the bow is nice. I'm not gonna lie though.. it cost a nice chunk of dough.

wildthing.. it will cost a small fortune, but it's well worth it if you ask me.

Good Choice Of Bow,you Will Also Love The Quiver.i Bought A T3 When They Came Out And Love It,the Only Thing I Dont Like About The Quiver Is That They Need A Damper On The Mount,i Put Mini Limb Savers On The Mount For If You Tap It When The Quiver Is Removed It Acts Like A Tuning Fork.since I Shoot With My Quiver Removed,it Needs A Harmonic Dampener On The Mount To Go With The One On The Quiver Itself.
