Tim Andrus
back at the lodge , just finished another great meal by Terri. In going to miss her meatloaf. Well tonight where the birds were roosted this morning. It was Gene and I and one of his clients (Tad from Utah) we set up early and had the armadillo and a few whitetails go by early. Well we thought the night was a bust and out of nowhwere a gobbler hammered Close! Earlier ,since Tad was leaving in the morning I told him if a single gobbler comes in ..its his . So he hammered a 24lber with a 10 inch beard. What a way to end his hunt. So ,for me Ill give another shot in the morning. And then head back o Kansas city for a early morning flight thursday. Its been awesome ! Killed a pretty bird and visited with good fiends. Lastly, Ill have Gene post the pics of the 2 bucks we found lcked together. What a shame 2 nice bucks 150+ and a 125 incher. Had to be a painful death Ill be in touch Tim
