wildthing
well...looking at the forecast for the weekend...I think I am going to get some clover seed in ground. Warmer temp and a lot of rain...I think things are really going to start greening up soon.
MUDRUNNER
Sounds like a great weekend to plant!I had a weather break and put my mix in last weekend.I imagine you'll be getting the rains that we had yesterday.I believe we got about 3" or so out of it. wtnhunt
Too wet here to even think about working the ground right now. I do need to mow one perennial plot and fertilize though. Things already have greened up here, however we are likely going to have some more frosts here in the next 3 or 4 days. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I will be able to do some prep work for spring/summer plots soon.
wildthing
I got my grounded prepped last weekend and this week we have had days in the 60's and seeing some green. I figured might as well get some seed in the freshly tilled, moist soil. The perennial clovers I planted last year are already coming up and pulling in deer! wtnhunt
The perennial clovers I planted last year are already coming up and pulling in deer! That is cool. Mowed one of our perennial plots here this past weekend. Posted some more pics here. Will try to mow our larger plot this weekend and get some pics of it up. wildthing
nice pics of clovers! I probably won't even wait until tomorrow...I am headed straight to the store and then to the plots tonight! Might swing by Walmart and pic up some Lime too for the other areas I am going to plant. As they say, "No time like the prime time!"
