Rem308
I know this topic has been talked about again and again, but I am wondering what turkey loads you guys like in your shotguns? I have tried a variety of different shells and I find that my 870 likes the Winchester Turkey Loads in 3" Magnums...but I was also wondering if anyone has tried out the new Federal Premium Magnum Shock Turkey Loads? Federal Markets these as having a special 'Flight Control Wad' that helps with patterns. Anyone try these yet? So if you don't mind, what turkey loads do you guys prefer? If it helps, here is a link to those Federal Premiums: http://www.mackspw.com/Item--i-FEDPFC139S

EKYhunter
Nitro H276 #7 hevi shot in the 20 gauge and Nitro H10513A 4x5x7 hevi shot in the 3.5" 12 gauge. This load has 2 1/4 ounce of shot for the 12 gauge. Nitro has a new load, the H517, which has 2 7/16 ounce of hevi shot for the 3.5" 12 gauge. I'm planning on trying some of these next year in straight 7.
maddhunter
I've been useing Rem. Duplex 3" Magnums 4x6 shot for about 6 years now in my 870 Express. But now that Rem. has come out with the HD loads that shoot 1450fps I think I may be switching.
