Guest MassNTrash
Got into a group of 5 wolves yesterday while I was hiking looking for tine. Was able to get some video footage of one of them. Had some fun talking back and forth with them. I'd howl and then they would howl back. It was a pretty awesome experience. Here is some video. whitetailtrax
Very cool experience! The couple times in my life that I've had the opportunity to observe wolves are treasured memories that will last forever. Nice job preserving your memories on film! Guest MassNTrash
Stones, Dalls, Rockys and Calis. It is a great place to live. The new hunting calender year just started on April 1st. I still have yet to buy my new licence, as I normally wait for May when the bear season gets good. So even though it is a GOS on wolves with no bag limit in the area, no licence, no gun, means wolf lives to see another day.

Guest MassNTrash
Pics? You are askin the wrong guy for pics. Here's my one and only wolf that I shot in 2004. My then 8 year old son, my dad, and I had over a dozen of them howling all around us. My son and I started howling and the wolves were talking back. They actually responded way better to my son's calls. How many 8 year olds get to talk to wolves? Story short, we howled this one in and I was able to harvest it. whitetailtrax
What on earth do you do with all those bear hides? You've got some beauties there! I'm hesitant to shoot even one bear because I know the price of a rug is unreal and I know I will want one if I shoot one.
aksheephuntress
What on earth do you do with all those bear hides? You've got some beauties there! I'm hesitant to shoot even one bear because I know the price of a rug is unreal and I know I will want one if I shoot one. ...Oh!.....I maybe can help you with that question, whitetailtrax...!....-Just start putting them up in the bathroom...we have considered that.......and, as far as the outrageous price of a rug...(we understand...)....you can really save by caping out your own skull, turning the ears and splitting the lips, and doing each paw yourself...you can possibly save up to $50/paw; and another $75-$100 for the skull caping, etc.... - and...it's nice to just have future bears tanned...unless it's a real nice one, you just HAVE to get mounted... ....Like ALL of yours, MassNtrash!....B&C trophy bears, in MY book!!...I especially like the cinnamin ones...and, I love that picture of the one Mulie you got, in the canoe!!...-and the pics of your kids w/the cinnamin blacks...and the cats!(I've never seen one of those, up close...they are huge)....-I was really impresssed with the coat on that one bear...looked like the smallest bear you had, (pics here,of...)-but...the nicest coat....GREAT job!....Thank you so much for posting!
