DU_man_84
the goose population is pretty bad when you got geese nesting outside of a store in the suburbs http://www.foxnews.com/wires/2008Apr12/0,4670,ODDSuburbanGeese,00.html
Guest Finn
Never understood that....as a kid, we'd go hunt near the Horicon Marsh in Wisconsin, there were geese as far as the eye could see, and were allowed 1 goose per year.... RangerClay
Ask a southerner how many Canada geese they can shoot.
Tominator
Ohio explains it by saying there's a lesser breed of Canada, (can't remember the name) and they have far fewer numbers than the larger ones that are residents. We call them sky carp around here.

aksheephuntress
Greasy dark meat! YUK!!!!:D:eek: ....Hey, ORLAN....Just let them migrate back up here, now....I'm just fine with dark and greasy!....helps us Northerners stay warm and toasty up in these here parts, eh? ...What's not to love...? -Gee.....to tell you the truth, though....I've never had the heart to shoot one of them....I love those geese....the way they look...and the way they sound...and the way that they come sailing in here, landing finally to rest, after all those miles......(oh, heck....I'd be a piss-poor shot at one anyway....)- MY rationalization....
