MCH
Chase Curtis Brittain, age 5. Recorded his first put-out tonight. Snagged a ground ball at 3rd base and ran to the bag for the force out. He was also 3 for 3 at the plate with 2 RBI's and 2 Runs, with one ball making it the fence. His daddy sure was proud.:D
texastrophies
Congrats on the good plays and hits Chase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT, please don't sentence him to the dodgers, someone that young doesn't deserve that fate :D:D:D:D I know this is about sports, but all posts about a person's kids should be in the lounge so they get the most attention. rhine16
Congratulations to Chase!! Are you coaching him? Tee ball or coach pitch? Sounds like he is a bit better than me at third, i took a beating in softball tonight

muggs
Nice! The Tribe actually needs a thrid baseman, by the time they actually address that need, Chase will probably be around draft age. I hope I have a boy so I can see him do stuff like that.

MCH
Thanks guys. I got a kick out of him because our t-ball team isn't that good. We'll normally get like 2 outs per game if we're lucky. So when Chase made his out, the stands erupted in applause. Chase's face turned as red as his shirt.:D But apparently, he liked it because the next ball was hit to shortstop and Chase ran over and took it away.:D Got on to him for that, though.:D
VABuckSlayer
That's great Kevin. My boy Jake had his first T-ball game Saturday and plays again tonight. He's 5 as well. Does your league let all the kids on the team bat then switch out with the other team? That's what our league does at that age. They don't "officially" keep score or anything. It's fun to watch and the crowd goes wild if they actually get an out in the field!!! Jake was 3-3 in his debut as well with one making it to the outfield grass. He'll be a future Yankee for sure!! :D:D
