BearClaw
Anyone use the 4 1/2" S-Coil by Limbsaver? I currently use the 3 1/2" Deadenator by TruGlo. The S-Coil is an inch longer which should not be a problem and the weight is .7 oz heavier. Does it really reduce the vibration and shock like it states? The Deadenator works great, I'm just trying to do a little better if I can.
MCH
Haven't field tested a lot of stabilizers, but the main reason I went to an S-coil for hunting is its construction. I love the fact that I could accidentally hit my treestand with my stabilizer while moving around, and not make a noise.
whitetailtrophies
i use the s-coil but i do not notice a difference between that and my old stabilizer. but the material does make it quiet it you bump into something
RangerClay
I really enjoy my S-Coil! No complaints!
wtnhunt
Looked at the s-coil for my bow and opted for the doinker woodsman instead. Like MCH said, I like that it will not make any noise if it bumps anything. Far as the reduction of shock, I really have not noticed any difference from one stabilizer to another, but I have not tried all that many. Mach1
I use the S-coil and have convinced my brother and dad to switch to it it recent years too.

ShaneB
you wont notice much of a change but im sure there is a lil less noise there
dbHunterNY
It's hard to say with all the bows out there being different. I have one on my bow and it's very quiet, with practically no vibration being felt. I have a newer bow made by Bowtech/Diamond, but with my set-up it seems to be working well. - Dan

Mines on a hanger unless it's time to take it off and get things done, however that's a really good point. I never thought of that. - Dan
BearClaw
I finally bought the S-Coil stabilizer for my Jennings TrophyMaster and shot it for the first time tonight. Might be my imagination but I think the bow shoots quieter and since I put the Sims dampeners on the limbs my groups have been tighter and still were tonight. I think they made a difference! mo_hunter
Cheap and well worth more (don't tell limbsaver)! Great stabilizer.
QDMAworks4me
I had one it was nice but I traded it for a Doinker D2 multi rod 10" stabilizer, just wanted a little more length for longer shots. The pro shop we have around here puts the S coil on every new bow that he sends out of the place unless someone wants something different. Can't beat the price for what you get.
