the one
It‘s said that Turkey Hunting is becoming one of the fasting growing sports around:). I remember only a few years ago before GA. increased its bag limits on does:D you would see does just about every outing:p. Know that we Georgians can take up to 10 does pre season and harvest one on any day of the seasons doe sighting have dropped:mad:. I was just wondering if due to the fact that more turkeys hunters are tacking to the woods in their pursuit and passion of turkey hunting;). That if in fact we are educating the birds:eek: and that could be one of the reason that we are hearing less gobbles as each year passes:rolleyes: I wonder If the next generation of Gobblers or adapting to our pursuit:confused:
rhine16
I dont think that an increase in hunters would be the reason a bird will gobble less. Obviously an increase in hunters should decrease the number of birds, so that goes hand in hand. However, think you are saying that with more hunters, the birds are getting smarter...? I dont see that happening. That's kinda like them having a meeting like all the deer had on the Incomplete Deer Hunter and saying that hunters are out there so just don't go gobbling your head off Turkeys are very very smart animals, but I'm not giving them that much credit. A gobbler in the spring is much like a buck during the rut, same principle at least
