Cybertech_hound819
Well some of you may remember My illinois buck from this past fall. So i took it down to the local deer show and had it scored. The way i under stood it that all deer that score over 125 inches were P&Y well i was wrong. For a nontypical it has to be 150 inches and i missed it buy less then 5 inches and scoreing it as a typical missed it but 13 inches. Ended up scoring 145 3/4. but i did make the north american big buck club and for them it will be scored at 157 and chage. not bad for beeing the second buck with a bow. considering the first one was only 5 days befor that

The Kid
to me records don't do any justice, just because a buck isn't in the record books doesn't mean its not a nice buck in my opinion, that sure is one dandy you shot there, i mean look at the character he has!! jaret
Hey whether p&y or not, you got into the north american big buck club. That is a accomplishment as well as taking a buck like that.
ShaneB
very nice buck to bad about it not makein P&Y
Straight Shooter
Awesome buck and nothing to worry about on not making it! Congrats! I do have one question, though. If it scored 145 6/8" and still didn't make it because of deductions as a typical by 13 inches. I'm sorry, I don't see 33 inches of deductions on that buck, because 20 inches would take you down to 125" and you said it was 13" short of P&Y as a typical. That is a beautiful buck and I would think by just looking at it would make the books even with deductions. I'd call an official scorer for P&Y to have it done. Was it an official scorer for P&Y that scored it?

He is an awesome buck no matter what he tapes out to be! Congratulations!
rhine16
Just went to the P&Y website because i thought the minimum nontypical score was 140, however, it is actually 155.
Straight Shooter
Yes, a non-typical score of 155" is the minimum and 125" for a typical for P&Y. I think if he has it scored as a typical 10 point, he'll surpass the 125" minimum even with the deductions. Have that puppy scored officially, PLEASE. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I'm willing to bet that he stays in the low 130's after all is said and done.
aksheephuntress
...yes, I would definitely have it officially scored...and an awesome buck, for sure!!!....congradulations on the north american!....

elkoholic
why the record books do not tell the whole story Not P&Y? This is a 126" rack. Which one would you shoot if you had them both standing in front you? Symmetry isn't everything, but P&Y and B&C sure seem to think so. Cybertech hound 819, that is one heck of a buck you got there!
